I
posted this home tour before I actually had readers so I thought I would do it again plus add a few more lovely photos. It is the Manhattan apartment of Ina Garten. I wonder if she would let me stay for a weekend, I am in desperate need of a vacation, sigh.

In case you missed her home made to look like a barn, visit
here.

Yep, I've got this one saved as well. Her taste is just impeccable. Amazing restraint, such a simple palette, and yet, this home is so warm and inviting and not at all sterile. And that kitchen...well I'm just crazy for those gray cabinets! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the kitchen! Not in love with the barebacked woman pic! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, she is just the epitome of sensible style. I love her kitchen (no suprise) and those chevron floors are just stunning!
ReplyDeletei love everything she does and her place here is no exception.

ReplyDeleteIna Garten might be my one true love. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteit is so different from her Hampton home, but I love them both!
ReplyDeleteWOW I had never seen that before. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm not in Manhattan (about 30 mins) and my home looks nothing like that, but you are more than welcome to come and stay at Casa Pavone if you are ever in NY! I'm working on my guest room as I type. It should be finished in no time!
Hope you have a great 4th!
this looks soo gorgeous! And I just checked out her barn house and goodness...I'd love to be a guest at her house and rummage through her kitchen.

That is truly gorgeous! Wow! Her colour palette is great and the design elements are pretty. Glad you reposted this =)
ReplyDeleteI really like those burnt orange curtains!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such a wonderful place! I adore the strong architectural interior elements, particularly the ceilings. The flooring is stunning, as are the windows. I love the rich velvet curtains, too, as they add such drama and ground the room ideally. You can certainly tell that it has taken her years to accumulate the perfect pieces for her home. They look planned, but not obvious and predictable. Perfect, but still surprising. There is a warmth throughout this place, and a flow that is very inviting~
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you posted this again because I did miss it the first time. I'd love to be a guest in that gorgeous home..
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful space! it just feels so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI like how understated the entire apartment is and not surprisingly, that her kitchen is fabulous. Wouldn't it be great to be a guest or at least be invited for dinner?
