I came across this image while browsing on this fabulous new to me blog. I adore the way the windows push out, the fireplace, the iron based round table, and the chairs. Oh, and don't even get me started on the mirror, chandelier, and floors. I would love to dine here minus the kiddos, I could only imagine what the lovely seats would look like after.

What a gorgeous sun-soaked room!
ReplyDeleteI love the 'chandelier.' I would be afraid to eat in those chairs, though. I'm a stainer! :)
This is so relaxing! And I'm going to bet those chairs are washable...here's to hoping, right?
ReplyDeletebeautiful...but what are those floor fixtures?
ReplyDeleteI love it. The views out the windows look stunning too.
ReplyDeleteI love that chandelier! I am a sucker for a cool chandelier!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful space!
ReplyDeleteAnd kids = slipcovers so it all works out!
So lovely...and I'm not above putting towels on my own children's seats, when we all dine in our dining room, not exactly Mommy Dearest...(but some may say a little overboard).
ReplyDeleteLove everything about this dining room and can only imagine the great dinner parties to be had!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to paint the casings of my windows dark even more!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these chairs----such a modern way of going the slipcover route. Their lines are so elegant! Thanks for sharing with us. XO
ReplyDeleteThat's a dining room with a statement. Bold and elegant!
ReplyDeleteI agree, those windows are great!
ReplyDeleteAll of that natural light-it's breathtaking! And at night, by chandelier light or candles, I bet the room would just shine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful space...and so different !
ReplyDeleteAh! That is my fave dining room image (thanks for the nod!). How excited was I to see it when checking in here at one of my fave morning reads! Marija
ReplyDeleteI love large round dining tables for formal spaces, and those windows (plus the view) are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis indeed is dining in style. I like the push out windows and the fireplace that sits symmetrically in the area.
ReplyDeleteSimply elegant. I love the large windows.
ReplyDeleteI really like a fireplace in the dining room. For spaces that don't use a lot of fabric, they really warm up the room! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis room would shine even on the darkest day! I like it. xo
ReplyDeleteOMG, that light fixture is tres gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHey Paula...this made think that I would LOVE to see you post a couple of ideas of a practical dining space for a home with kids.
ReplyDeleteI want to redo my breakfast room area (I'm thinking a round table) and couple definitely use some inspiration...especially with the whole chair issue. I love upholstered white/ivory, but my spaghetti throwing toddler would turn it into artwork.
Any ideas?
Sarah
Wow, those windows.. only in my dreams! What a great space!
