Dining in Style

I came across this image while browsing on this fabulous new to me blog. I adore the way the windows push out, the fireplace, the iron based round table, and the chairs. Oh, and don't even get me started on the mirror, chandelier, and floors. I would love to dine here minus the kiddos, I could only imagine what the lovely seats would look like after.

I love the 'chandelier.' I would be afraid to eat in those chairs, though. I'm a stainer! :)

  9. So lovely...and I'm not above putting towels on my own children's seats, when we all dine in our dining room, not exactly Mommy Dearest...(but some may say a little overboard).

  21. I really like a fireplace in the dining room. For spaces that don't use a lot of fabric, they really warm up the room! Lovely.

  23. Hey Paula...this made think that I would LOVE to see you post a couple of ideas of a practical dining space for a home with kids.
I want to redo my breakfast room area (I'm thinking a round table) and couple definitely use some inspiration...especially with the whole chair issue. I love upholstered white/ivory, but my spaghetti throwing toddler would turn it into artwork.
    Any ideas?
