Do you all happen to remember Lindsay Bierman's kitchen from the January/ February 2008 Cottage Living issue {second image}? Well I do and came across it again while doing my weekly real estate browsing. I know I am a complete nut, but then again at least I share my nuttiness with all of you right? It is one of my favorite kitchens and seems to have stayed mostly the same except for recovering the settee and maybe an art change. Still adore it and the rest of the home.
Remember I am always happy to put you in touch with the listing agent if you want more info. I will not in any way send out the actual listing and therefore will not share location. Thanks for understanding.
Oh brother, you have done it again, only this time you shared a beautiful mls listing from my all time favorite magazine. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I seriously love it.

I saw this listing the other day and I knew it looked familiar. I need to pull out our old Cottage Livings and look through them again. I miss this magazine!
ReplyDeletewow, i don't know if i would have connected the dots and i loved that kitchen. that bank of windows is lovely. as well as the banquettes flanking the fireplace. lucky new homeowner that snatches this up. pam
ReplyDeleteGood eye! I miss Cottage Living - boo hoo.
ReplyDeleteI think these are my favorite kinds of posts from you - there is NOTHING better than real life homes to me.
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, you make me want to move immediately to Birmingham! Why do you guys always have the most amazing interior designs???
I love seeing all of this beauty in our lovely Birmingham! This home is amazing- I love the curved wall in the master, the wallpaper on the guest bedroom ceiling- and the all white bathroom is a dream! Thanks for sharing Paula!
ReplyDeleteeeeeee this is one of my favorite houses, ever! and this is even better than the design*sponge sneak peek. you rock. can't wait to see what Lindsay does next!
ReplyDeleteYes, I remember this kitchen and had to pull the issue to take a look again. Good eye for spotting it.
ReplyDeletethe 2nd to last picture is my favorite. the ceiling? love. grasscloth wallpaper is fabulous, and those night stands are so perfect and unexpected as paired with everything else. now that settee is the real show stopper--did they customize it as a headboard, or is that a sleeper??? WOW.
ReplyDeleteI didnt see that Cottage Living issue, but this house that you pictured is just lovely and sooo airy and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love the white in the two rooms above - simplicity in itself!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a fab week sweetie!
So many great options
ReplyDeleteI totally remember this house!! Design Sponge did a post on the home too. I loved so many things about it. Thanks for sharing it, so we get a few more sneak peaks into the house.

No WAY. That is the kitchen I'm copying, without any changes at all (except maybe the wool banquette) when we re-do ours. I am in total love with the entire house. Too bad you can't buy it furnished...
ReplyDeleteHis photo was one of my inspirations forever! I miss the plaid, though. His home is beautiful....wouldn't you love to see the new one?
ReplyDeleteYou find the coolest homes.
