Simple can be Better

While devouring Katy Elliot's blog I came across Plain Kitchens and knew I had to share the beauty of their work. What I love most is the simplicity of the design. SIMPLICITY is my word for the year and I will post more on this once I have it all sorted out. To see more of my favorites from Plain Kitchens be sure to visit Mrs. French.

  10. I saw a simplicity word plaque over a pantry door photo today on Tumblr that I thought was very clever. I adore those lights over the table they look like a copper version by Jim Lawrence - just gorgeous.

  19. Too busy focusing on that divine table to fully focus on the simple kitchen. Wow! wonder where it is from... and is that a metal top? If this defines simplicity, I'm sold!

  21. That kitchen has me drooling....
I think simplicity needs to be my word for the year too. I la la love that motto.
I'm working on it. I tend to like to buy little this and thats and it just ends up cluttery .. now matter how cool the little this or that is.
Today I bought some bowls at anthro and although I really wanted to buy fun colors I went with all cream to have a group that would look cleaner to display and use. So I made a simplify effort today in my own way :)

  26. Holy Smokes...I went to that kitchen site and got sick! Those were the most beautiful kitchens I have ever seen....and made me wish for a small kitchen fire :) While I was there of course to put it out after a small amount of damage was done!

  28. Simplicity is beauty. Minimalism is bliss. More often than not, there are times that we should break away with the elaborate, design-laden interior and reboot into a more simplistic one. Not only does this make the kitchen uncluttered, but also makes dining more comfortable. Light-colored motifs are the best!
