Reminds Me of Spring

I first came across this home on Blair's wonderful blog Delight by Design. She came across it on Design Sponge. I am ready for spring and our beach trip next week and this home reminds me of those things.

The splashes of green, blue, and orange are just delightful. The fresh flowers should really be a staple all year round, but it makes it all the better if they come from your own spring garden. The color on the kitchen cabinets makes me melt. They remind me of driftwood. I would love to do that to my own cabinets. I wonder if hubby would notice?

I know, I loved this house tour. A couple of favorites are the gorgeous bathroom and those odd numbered plates in the kitchen.

I have a table in need of painting (I actually just took a picture of it thinking I might post it up for some advice) and that green, round table might just have inspired me. I just love it! Oh, and that kitchen has got me dreaming of updating even more... I'll have to book mark it for the future. Thanks!

Great post! Those apron sink and kitchen cabinets are beautiful--have you seen pickled oak done in a kitchen? It's just divine! Gives a beautiful soft, gray look to the wood, without taking away from the look of the grain. I also love the bathroom! It feels like a serene yet cheerful spa~

How funny that you mentioned the kitchen cabinets, because they are exactly what I was thinking about as I was scrolling through the pictures! I've been seriously tempted to do the very same...paint mine that delicious, serene color. And you put a perfect name on it, "driftwood," I love that!

I challenge you to do it, :0) I'd love to see the result.

The beach community we stay in reminds me of this home as well, not Rosemary, by chance?

I am loving the living room with the chocolate, green and white. I love white furniture. However having a solid while bed I know how hard it would be to keep it clean and looking fresh.
