This home was given away by HGTV and the best part is that it's green. I normally imagine a more modern and simple home when I picture a green home, but this home is full of warmth and comfort. I love all the little touches such as the horse photo divided into three, the tile in the bath, the stools in the kitchen and that fabulous green room. I also am loving that composter. It may not be lovely looking, but it would do wonders for my garden.

I like the art and I'm totally digging the bedside tables. You're right, it looks homey, cozy, and not at all stark or off-putting. Nice!

Oh that kitchen. love it. You are right, normally a "green" house seems like a more modern feel, but I love the warmth of this one. And I'm dying to get a composter myself!

What a gorgeous home! I loove the bedroom, which is in my favorite colors of the moment. I've always entered the Dream Home giveaways, but as of yet-no luck. Maybe next year!

Thanks for coming by my blog! I love the turquoise bedside tables. I'm inspired! We've been living without while I search garage sales, craigs list, etc. I want something out of the box and turquoise would certainly help accomplish that.
We are planning to start composting in our new home. I can't wait. I wrote a paper this year about the state of landfills and our general waste consumption. It is sobering.
