Another Lovely Home Tour

This home renovation just makes me smile. I love the fresh clean colors, simple but ever so lovely furnishings, and I especially love the outdoor area. I could image myself living out there. My husband and I have certain things we want for our next home and I always say that the garden is what will sell me. I can make any home lovely, but a beautiful yard and garden are much harder to start from scratch. What is your must have for a home?

I would also love to say thank you to Everything Fabulous and Sweet as Candy for One Lovely Blog Award and Blue Hydrangea for the Splash Award. I am honored.

Great home tour! There is nothing cold or stark about this modern beauty. I particularly love the mix of vintage furnihings with many fun and accessible IKEA pieces. But the kicker for me are those curtains in the little girl's room...color me happy!

what a great kids room! I love the colors! The out door deck is gorgous also!

yes, the garden is much harder to get going -- and possibly more expensive! next go-round I'll look for a more-established yard :)

I really want my next home to have a fireplace. And bigger closets. And another bathroom. That's all! I am serious about the fireplace though. I love those curtains in the kids room.

Oh my goodness--I love this home! So crisp and clean without being cold. And that outdoor area with the paper lanterns is just fantastic.

i've decided i want a river :) is that too much to ask? I just KNOW I would love to sit by a beautiful river (or stream I can compromise) and listen to it as I read or nap or think....just everything! so I want a yard with a stream/river :)

I love this house. I'm living in my first house (as opposed to an apt.) as an adult and I have to say that having a garden is pretty great. Especially this time of year when I can have my morning coffee and dinner parties outside. It is a lot of work though. I have lots of weeding in my near future!

I am so jealous of that kitchen! My #1 need for a house is lots of windows - something I am currently lacking...

Ohh my I love. I can't wait until I can decorate my own house one day (Yay!). A reasonably big backyard would be a must. Mainly so I can get a swimming pool put in =)
