Shopping Hiatus {2}

This is the second week in a row that I have not fudged on my spending hiatus. It probably helped that I received gifts for my birthday, but that is besides the point. I really did not want to shop. I found my niche, if I simply stop making wish lists then I do not want. Very easy really, can't believe I didn't figure that one out before. I do have a few home projects in the works, but I have saved and saved so when that time comes I will not feel a twinge of guilt. Oh, and if I were to have a wish list then this would be at the top...

...I am so ready for fall.

I love this! I need something like this to layer over dresses in late summer, then over jeans, then turtlenecks, then under coats. OK - I've talked myself into it!

Funny but just yesterday I was out shopping & I wanted to buy quite a few things but then you popped into my head & I thought that I should join you on your shopping hiatus. It is really hard not to spend money right now with the excitement of Fall & the holidays upon us. I love Fall clothing the best & that Anthro sweater is no exception.

Be strong;)

ohh it's so hard not to buy something you just fall in love with after stepping by the shop's treshold... BUT I want to joing you immediately and see how resistant I can be (and how long...)
take care and don't give up!
and the pullover is lovely...

Yes, truly something for the wish list! I, too, think of you when I'm about to make an impulsive buy!

Nice job at staying strong the last two weeks! I'm thinking of taking some sort of shopping hiatus as well. For the next year I want to work at only buying clothing secondhand. This is going to be hard though because all of my pants are too big for me and that has been the hardest to find. My husband and I are currently purging our house of stuff. I am so tired of stuff! I also unsubscribed from design blogs because they make me want more stuff.

Keep these shopping hiatus updates coming, even if you fall back a little bit.

This is hilarious, Paula! I just, literally, just, created a post on my top picks from Anthropologie -- now, how did I miss this one? I love the cinching and buttons details -- not to mention that I bet it's the coziest piece :)

Ugh, that is such a hard thing to do, not make wish lists. But it's really really smart! I would love to see that sweater on you :)

I just KNEW that was Anthropologie!! heck I'm too big (size 16) to look good in anything like that... so since you do, you should get it! lol!

Good work on the shopping hiatus! You are a better woman than I. This sweater is great, it looks so comfy! I love summer, but I too am getting excited for sweaters and crunchy leaves! Happy belated birthday, by the way! I hope it was fabulous!

Hmmm, sounds easy enough,I am going to try it! No lists for me! We will see how long that lasts. If I were making a list I would have to agree with you on that sweater!
