A House to Dream About

This home was featured in the October issue of Better Homes and Gardens and I am smitten with it. I could sit on that porch for hours and just enjoy that view. When I think of our one day house I would have to say this one fits the bill perfectly. It feels very warm and cozy. I am a huge fan of texture and not color so even the decor would work for me. The layout is what I like the most. Simple yet functional. The only thing I would want to add would be some sort of garage or car port. I really hate running out in the rain. Can you tell I have thought way too much about this house?

I remember that house. My son (age two) is looking over my shoulder. He saw the pics, said "I want to buy that house" and I couldn't agree more!

Certainly worthy of dreaming about! I love all the bright white and the photo of the exterior is to die for. And the kitchen! I can't even cook and that kitchen makes me drool. We can dream...

The outdoor space and the views framed by the large windows look incredible. I love finding a house in a magazine that I love, and I too keep returning to it. On my way to the supermarket today I discovered three houses that I adore all next to each other. Previously they have been hidden by foliage so I may have to return with my camera!!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful house xx

What a great house. Love the architecture of the house. Also really like the sofa in the living room and marble in the bathroom.

Wow natural wood paneling has never looked so good. Did you see that view from the porch?

I hope you are feeling good and are bouncing back from that procedure you had.

What an amazing home -- there's so much warmth and light about it. The kitchen just has me. I love the black and white and that round island in the middle. And the porch! I wouldn't mind living there. Nope, not at all.

Hi Paula! I am curious, do you know where the bedding came from in this post? We are looking for new bedding and it caught my eye :)

Really enjoy your blog. Hope all is well!
