COLOR

This home is the perfect mix of being swoon worthy and child friendly. I look at images like this and just fall head over heels for all the color, so why can I not personally live with it baffles me. One of my favorite pieces in the article is when the owner and designer Jenny Keenan states, "I love things to be beautiful and be perfect, but that's just not realistic. Baskets are a pretty and practical way to sort of have it both ways." I must agree, baskets have become my best friends too.

And always I love to see my sweet babies up on Party Perfect. So fun!

Wow, where do I start? Such amazing details. I LOVE the kitchen, and the coffee table is fabulous. But the most inspiring thing I think is her craft/home office storage. So great! I need to save that picture....
Thanks for sharing! And I think you're right, making color work is very tricky. It can easily look confused and busy. This woman did an amazing job.

Hasn't Better Homes and Gardens really stepped up their game in the last few years? I always love pouring through their magazine. This home is a perfect example - I just love everything about it!

Oh wow, I love this! I feel like I'm always in a constant battle between a love of color and feeling suffocated by it. This space balances it perfectly.

What a charming home - I am the same way.. no color. It terrifies me :) I am also a basket collector, and let me tell you managing at Pottery Barn sure didnt help the situation! xo

this is so cute and fun! but I am totally the same way. I try to do color(s), I honestly do. But I usually can't stand it for very long and almost always regret a colorful purchase. at least we can express our colorful desires on our blogs!
