I totally agree about the things being personal. I look at some homes in magazines and they look so styled and as you said 'showroom' like.

Very inspirational images. There's a lot going on in each of them but they still look "undecorated" in a good way.
I'm inspired to zip back to the thrift store for a mirror EXACTLY like the one in the second vingette. Wish I could thrift those lamps!

Love, love, love the images you picked. My favorite is probably the last one - with the b/w photos together with the empire chest. I have always liked contrasts.
