A Boy's Room

This boys room would be perfect on the coast although I would love to recreate it here in the suburbs. Love the green painted floors with matching beds. It would be easy enough to rip up KJ's carpet and just paint the concrete then add a pretty rug. That sign with old barn wood and of course zinc letters from Anthropologie would easily top it all off. It's probably a good thing I am away or my husband may come home to a pile of mess, ha!

I've got a painted little boy floor on the agenda (currently I've had a primed little boys floor for 4 months...) and I've wondered about green. I like this!

I just found your blog via TTI and I love your boy's room!! I love the green beds and the neutral decor. Nothing is more boring to me than a blue boys room. You have done a great job and I can't wait to explore more of your posts!

I just love the idea of painted floors... I seem to be too wimpy to try it though!

I love the painted floors. But mostly I love the sort of puke-y color of green they chose. Not too sweet....

Those green floors are gorgeous. I've seen whitewashed floors and black floors, but never green. So unique!

It's adorable! That horse is just great! The map of Nantucket is also a nice touch.

That's a great space, I love how they have seamlessly mixed sleep and play. I am still trying to achieve that in the basement... play + live that is :)

There really are some amazing kids bedrooms around - makes me want to go and change one of our spare rooms (even though we have no children!).

That horse is just fabulous too.

Oh my gosh, my first thought in seeing this was that I could recreate it for my own boy! We're pulling up carpet this coming weekend...and his bed sure could use a new coat of paint. Hmm...

What a great room! I would've loved a girl's version of this room as a child. Oh, who am I kidding, I'd love a girl's version of this room now!
