ART
I had quite a few inquires about the walls that I was standing in front of in this post so I thought I would show you more. The first is a small wall off the kitchen and keeping room that I painted out in chalk board paint, but we have yet to actually draw on it. The art is strung on twine and is changed out constantly. It makes the kiddos feel extra special. The second is made up of old windows that I snagged when my old college apartment building was getting new windows. I simply took 6x6 prints of our favorite pics, scotch taped them on the back, and then used scrapbook dot adhesive to attach them to the backside of the window pane and when I say I, I really mean Kellen. We also change out a window every new season. We like to keep things fresh.

I love those windows! I have to get something up for my kids art, as we finally actually have some art to display these days...

Nothing makes a home more charming than kid's artwork and family photos - love this!
The window photo frames are such a cute idea! I love that you change them all the time!

Love the string with artwork. Seriously! What do I do with all of my children's art work? I need to update all of our framed pictures. I love having them around the house, I just run out of room! Great ideas.

you are full of amazing ideas! my brother just picked up a ton of old windows and they love them but didn't know what to do with them! can't wait to share your genius with them!
thanks.
love all of it. I do like that concept of being able to swap the pictures out like that. Kids artwork is the best.
Oh my, I LOVE the windows as frames and also LOVE the kids art hung on the twine. I'm going to have to "borrow" that lovely idea for Emerson.
Paula, you are one creative and adorable lady! (Puts me to shame...)
It is time for me to get a chalk board wall up too - somewhere in the house. My college days are long gone by - but I would have snagged those windows too (without even knowing what to do with them!)
A warm hug, Mon
i love the old windows especially
I love those window frames, what a clever idea!

Paula, when we came to meet with you guys about doing our wedding pics, we could not stop talking about the window art. It is fabulous!
Now that is cool. I have a window just like that and while I have all kinds of ideas about what to do with it, I just don't know where to put it!
thanks for sharing.. love these... so original
