Gallery Walls Obsession

It seems I like a gallery wall. Maybe a little too much since almost every room holds one. The first is in the hall that is right off the entry towards the kiddos bedrooms. The bottom right frame will soon hold the kiddos art project the rest are filled by my Mr...

This is the one in KJ's bedroom. It was inspired by the art walls in Moomah.

The two bikes are by Hillarie Tasche who seems to have closed up shop.
The two bottom 5x7 are by Simplesong Designs.
Middle is from Seesaw Letterpress.
The four middle 5x7's are note cards from Moomah.
The two top 5x7's and the right top are by me.

The top left was a gift.

This is in Ellie's room. The green walls photographed much more saturated than they really are.

Top left and large abc print were gifts.
Bottom left was designed by Brooke of Blueprint Bliss.
Top middle and wooden flower are by local artists.

Of course you have seen this image before, but it is part of my gallery wall obsession just with a slight twist.

I have been checking my list off left and right and it feels so good. KJ's room is almost finished just need to sew a pillow for his bed and a few odd and ends. Ellie's room just needs a coat of paint on the bed to finish it off. The office supplies have been ordered and now waiting for arrival so it can be completed. Oh, and my deadline is to have it all done by the weekend. Why such a hurry? Well I am having surgery that will keep me laid up for a good six weeks at least. I know it doesn't really matter, but I do not want any of my uncompleted projects hanging over my head. I am a dweller.

You have such a knack for gallery walls....I love them all! I love the mix of frames, the all-white frames (I need some, by-the-way...pottery barn or IKEA?), and I really love the pier. So good!

I love them. I too have a few in my house. They are much more interesting to me than a single print...it maybe it's because I can't ever decide on just one! That last pic is wonderful. I've been wanting to do something similar in my living room. Your post hopefuly will inspire me to get working in it! Sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery. Know that many people out there will be sending you well wishes!

I love them too! There's one in my bedroom in my apartment. If I had free reign over the living room there would probably be one there too, but my roommate had great art when we moved in. Also agreeable.

And I love love LOVE the "I am a child of God" pieces. I'm remembering that for when I get married and have babies.

Will pray for a happy surgery! As happy as it can be anyway. And quick recovery - because being laid up, even with everything accomplished, isn't the most fun thing.

Love your gallery walls Paula!!! We have one in our basement for all of my husband’s sports memorobillia but I have wanted to do one with the kids pictures for years. I guess I will have to pull the trigger. Do you have any tips?
I hope your surgery goes well and you have a fast recovery. You will still be able to blog, right? :)

Paula,
I received my R&H binders, they are perfect! The gold looks so good when they're on the shelve. So glad you showed them. Have a good 6 week recovery.

Love them! The corner one is oh-so-cool. I'm still collecting frames and trying to decide which wall is going to turn into our gallery wall.

I LOVE gallery walls too, thanks for sharing your's. My favorite is the pier in the last photo, just lovely. I did a gallery wall this winter of some of my grandmother's beautiful hand towels. It's such a nice way to view them without using them and damaging them.

Hope you have a quick recovery, will be thinking of you!

Keeping many healing and positive thoughts going for your recovery. Totally understand your wanting to get things done beforehand. Do what you can and try to let go of the rest.

Love your gallery walls. They are quite an inspiration for me.

I love a gallery wall. I have a whole inspiration folder filled with images...I'm just waiting for a home with a grand staircase to line along the walls going upstairs. But, I may just incorporate some of your ideas until then!

I love gallery walls too. I think there is a fine art though to get the perfect balance so the arrangement doesn't look too plain and calculated or too messy and unorganized.

These are gorgeous. Simple and thoughtfully arranged. I know how hard it is to be out of commission with a family, especially young kids. But it sounds like your husband is fantastic and you have tremendous support. Lots of us will be thinking about you and praying for a quick and painless recovery :)
