From the Right Bank is at it again with her your style in one image challenge. I loved it the first time and am having trouble with a post for today so I thought I would join in, ha! I think I could have a different image for everyday, but today mine comes from Cote De Texas. This is the home of Sally Wheat and I am quite obsessed with it. I love the neutral palette, new mixed with old, unique art, industrial pieces, the linen slipcovers, the simple window panels, the antlers, I even have the same trough on the table, really I could go on and on. I want to live her, I really do. Anytime I am in in a design slump I come back to this home, I truly am in love.
This has a great mix of so many different styles and pieces, that it makes for a wonderfully balanced, calm, yet exciting room. I think I love it too. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I think you've done pretty well, then, because your own home matches this pretty closely! Lovely image.

ReplyDeleteSally Wheat! I remember when I first saw the blog entry on that home; it hit me in a way that very few homes ever did. It continues to be a HUGE style inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOh I have always loved that house and every thing that sally wheat does. LOVE EVERYTHING about this room too. I'm trying to avoid those very stools sine I'm suppose to be working on my living room. They are on overstock right now for a very good deal..... hmmm ....maybe this is a sign...maybe when you come across something so good you better just get it cause it might be gone, yes?
