Yesterday Ellie started kindergarten. I feel highly blessed and grateful for the school we got her into, but it's still hard. She is extremely excited and I am getting there. So for now it's KJ and I during the day which he just loves. Today and probably tomorrow I will be trying to get our new schedule in order. You would think it would be easier with only one child, but for me it's not. First on my list is to have coffee with this sweet lady.
I love her little uniform. It's adorable!

Oh Paula, those are the cutest pictures! I love how her little foot is turned. And I am jealous about your coffee date! Tell Marianne hello and have a cup for me!
ReplyDeleteYea Ellie!!!
ReplyDeleteGREAT dress!!!! Go get em!
ReplyDeleteGood luck adjusting. I assume it's very hard on you too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Big day indeed. Hope all went well for both of you!
ReplyDeletePrecious photos! I remember when my daughter went off to Kindergarten and left me with her little brother. I felt a bit lost for weeks (and had spontaneous crying bouts). Now, she's in third grade and he'll go off to Kindergarten next year. Time flies. I need a tissue.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is worth a thousand words. She looks too cute in her uniform!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! How was her day? Did she love it?! xx
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I hope she had a great first day! Her little uniform is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYeah for a great school, that is so exciting!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with Marianne!
I am looking forward to it! I can't get over how cute Ellie is, I could eat her up! Those shoes with the jumper....my uniform never looked that good!
ReplyDeleteW goes back to school in 2 weeks, he is already telling me he doesn't need to go. They seem to 'know' so much at that age.
ReplyDeleteEllie makes her uniform look so stylish, of course, she is your daughter. Hope the transition goes smoothly and please tell Marianne hello. All of you southern bloggers make me want to make a trip down there just for a lunch or coffee date!
xo
So sweet. I love the colors in the uniform.. different from the usual, blue, red, green, yellow lot.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about 2 being easier than one.

ReplyDeleteShe's so sweet! Her uniform is really cute. It makes me realise how much I do like uniforms. Maybe it's a good thing they are mandatory in Australia :)

How sweet! Adore her little uniform and her adorable sweet expression here. What a milestone...for you both!!! My youngest has one year left of pre-K...this time next year its safe to say I will be an emotional mess!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the blog and congratulating me on the Southern Living kitchen,
ReplyDeleteLeslie
It goes by fast. May not feel that way now but before you know it....middle school! Ugh! Hang in there and enjoy every precious moment! Great age and they bring home such cute projects! She looks just like you!
ReplyDeleteAww, look at her in her cute wee uniform and sneakers. I think I know what you mean - two at home (when close in age) entertain each other but one on his own is more demanding of mum's attention! Is that what you mean? Congrats on this new milestone with your firstborn :)
ReplyDeleteHow did she like her first day?
she is absolutely adorable!! what a bittersweet day...going of to "big girl" school!!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute... all ladylike with the bow and uniform, but you can tell she has a little bit of a punk/tomboy edge, too. Love it!
ReplyDeletewhat a DOLL!
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet girl, off to kindergarten, how exciting! I love Ellie's uniform and her great choice of shoes! Happy belated birthday and btw I really like the zinc tables. I think if you're living somewhere warm and sunny a zinc table is a great choice. Having said that, I rarely meet a farmhouse table that I don't like. We are saving for new dining room furniture and the only thing that has been decided on is the shape of the table, round.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Love the foot turned in from the second photo. :)
