Well Done

I grew up in Massachusetts and can remember so many of this type home lining the streets. You can say I am quite parcel to the cedar shingles and simple facade. I was not expecting much when I clicked on this home in our local real estate listings, but I was rather mistaken. It is quite stunning and feels rather special. The shower with the the doors that open out are now in my one day file. I dream of having an outdoor shower, but living in AL makes it not quite practical. This is truly the best of both worlds. This home is going for $569,000 and is listed as new construction. They most definitely have me fooled or it's a mistake. Either way I am in love and will be doing a drive by today.

As always if you are interested in this home I will be more than happy to get you in touch with the agent.

Looks like your typical New England style house! So quaint. Love the doors in the shower and the sconces in the bathroom were quite unique. Great post!

LOVE this house. Would be eagerly driving by myself if driving by didn't require a plane trip first.

What a fantastic house! I really am living in the wrong country. For that price you can barely get anything here :(

This is crazy good! I am in love with it.

Is that a old card catalog in the kitchen?

It's a remodel. Take your first left leaving the Village coming towards my house...it's up on the hill overlooking the Western. I want this house. Bad.

That is one small kitchen for $569,000.
But the house is beautiful.

They did a great job! I love the exterior too. Where did you grow up in Massachusetts. I moved to MA a little over 6 years ago.

What a cute and unique home. Love the work they have done inside! I can't believe how expensive homes are in other areas of the US!

New construction or the Realtors creative way to say new renovation? Just like the mountain view homes here that requier you to stand on the edge of the deck, overhang 4' and look to the left? LOL...gotta love marketing.
It is a sweet home and I am loving the bathroom, the faucets and backsplash detail have me sold.

I love cedar shingles! You don't see that in my neck of the woods but I do see it in the Northern Michigan town where we vacay. I adore all of those houses.

Very cool house, but I would love to see it furnished. Why don't you just go ahead and buy it so we can see it furnished!

Nice House. Love that the shower opens up outside too. I would think it would be very easy to have an outdoor shower there in AL (says the girl far away in VA) It's one of my house dreams too.

Love those dual sinks!

Certainly makes me reconsider all the junk I have stored under our sinks for this streamlined simplicity!

This house is stunning. I don't think I'd change a thing, aside from decorating it with complementary furniture.

I summered in Massachusetts and we lived there for a few years before moving to Madison. A Cape Cod home with aged cedar shingles is my dream. This is definitely a lovely home, but a bit spendy. Lovely!

I adore New England homes. My home inspiration was a mix of the East and the South... I can never make up my mind which I love more?!

It is really cute and I love a lot of the details but I am thinking there will be MAJOR wood rot/mold on those doors in the shower within a year. CLever idea in theory but not sure it is smart in reality.
