I know I have been scarce from blog land and I have a few emails to answer also. I do apologize and hope to catch up on both very soon. I want to thank you all for your more than generous comments as of late. I read every one and they brighten my day. It seems with my desire for simplicity I become a chaotic mess. Thankfully I know this too shall pass and I will find my peace...
Worry never solves tomorrow's problems. It only robs today of its peace.
Matthew 6: 25-24

I agree this image makes me take pause also. Take a look at my black and white post today, It did the same thing to me, I just had to stop and stare at the images, Kathysue
This does look like such a peaceful and relaxing space. It looks like a great blogging chair too!
Love that bible verse. I am going to post it on my bathroom mirror so I can start each day with it. Thanks for sharing.
My first reaction to the picture was simply this: "Ahh, how relaxing." I hope you have a relaxing and reinvigorating weekend, Paula!
I love how wintery white it is outside the windows. something I can relate to. I think I might try a cup of hot chocolate today.
LOVE the verse! That is exactly what I needed to read today. Love the pic too.
Love the picture & the verse. Wish I could sit down & share a cup of tea with you!
you're right! it does look peaceful...but I would rather see sun and green than snow out of that window! Happy weekend!
I agree. That picture is amazing. I could live there. : )
this space is really gorgeous.
i hope you have a fabulous, calm, relaxing weekend! my favorite saying when things get crazy: "this, too, shall pass."

Paula, I hope everything is going OK for you. I enjoy your blog very much and your essence really comes through. That is a gift.
Hang in through whatever 'messy' spots you're hitting right now. You have a lot of fans out here who are here for you.
all my best...donna
yeah this image is wonderful... oh to have my own office space that looks like that!
Hope you have a great weekend
that room by the window...wow, I'd love to sit an work in there...or just sit on that beautiful chair and think! Thank you for sharing the Matthews scripture...I've been doing a lot of worrying lately and it has only gotten me in more trouble...so this scripture brings my mind peace =)
Gorgeous image. I need to save it to my files. Have a great weekend!
Love the bible verse! Don't let anything keep you from keeping it simple!
Agree that you stop and take in every inch of this image. I can completely imagine it being home.
Thank you for once again finding inspiration and sharing it.
xx
This does look so relaxing. I would love to add more white to my house, but it just isn't practical right now.
I always wonder about white plank floors and how often they need to be mopped. Anyone have any experience with those?
hey! I love your blog! :) and I just gave your the Stylish Blogger award, take a look at my blog!:) xx
Paula, I know how you are feeling. I always have to give myself pep talks on why worrying and fear are no good:-)
Very pretty images. Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
ohhhh yes please. this is beautiful!
Thinking about you! I will be gone most of this week but would love to get coffee next week. Then it is onto Atlanta for our trip!
i love this image...I too am looking for both peace and organization too and finding just the right balance is always hard. Love that scripture verse.
I like it that the office seems like a retreat but close to the action. Floors are great, too.

PS. Following you now. Have a great week.

yes..I love the office space.
That was my first thought upon seeing this image ... Ahhhh, love the palette.
And you are so right ... the neutral palette with the mix of modern and traditional is a homerun.
the colors are so calming. thanks for sharing.
This room is classically timeless- if I can say that? I completely agree with you Paula. It's just very serene.
Beautiful quote - be present - that's what I try to remember and do. Sometimes successfully, often times not. :-))
completely agree. we're all human though. and of course, i love the neutral palette. xo
