Being Honest

I am completely humiliated to admit that I do not have a blog post today due to my recent and embarrassing need to read this saga. I was the girl who said I would never even pick one up. Well that all changed when all of my girlfriends were going to see New Moon. Although the movie was somewhat cheesy I had to find out what happened next. Then soon after I lost interest again. Fast forward to a few nights ago and hubby went out and I was bored out of mind and I happened to have my sisters copy of Eclipse sitting on the bookshelf. Well, let's just say it's been hard to put down and now I have to head to the book store to find out the ending. Yes, I am Paula and am completely addicted to the saga.

Look now I even have a blog post, well, sort of. Have a great weekend. I will be reading.

it happened to me too, I said I'd never watch the movie, but then I saw the first one and I was hooked. ;) have you seen the movies? do you think I should read the books after watching the movie?

The only reason I haven't picked one up is because I so do not have time to get sucked into a series! Enjoy your reading!

They're incredibly addictive! I fell under their spell, too. All I wanted to do was read them and as fast as I could,(about 3 weeks total!)
Welcome, Paula.

I too have read all of these and was obsessed until I finished it! Nothing got done, laundry in piles, dishes ect..... That series can do that to you! I have to say though that the movies were really not that good. Have you seen them?

Have fun reading and stop by my blog for my So Chic, Elle Decor book giveaway!

I have been into it on and off. My interest picks back up when a new movie comes out then I see the movie and it dies down.

I can completely relate. I read the first one for my book club as a fun summer read, and then I read the next 3 books in about 2 weeks. My husband made fun of me the entire time, because I was acting like a 15 year old girl (i.e., pass me a note tomorrow in geometry to let me know what happens in the next chapter). I just got completely sucked in. Enjoy!

I was the same way! Then I ate my words when I got to the end of Breaking Dawn and started the saga again immediately. It's addictive.

Oh I know what you mean! I resisted for the longest time, but after my sister started devouring it I needed to read it. I ate up all 4 books rather quickly. While the movies are not the greatest I still love them!

Enjoy!

Oh, that's funny! I see you've come to the dark side :)...I know, I know I had the same attitude when I read the books last year, but I just couldn't put them down. I guess it's huge props to the author for being an excellent story teller!

Sarah said...

Glad to have you on board. I started and finished all four books in a week. Needless to say, I wasn't the best mom or wife that week due to lots of sleepless nights. Enjoy the end, it's FANTASTIC... This is a great picture of the cast.

NOOO!!! Paula!!!! Don't do it! I read them all and it was hours of my life I could never get back! I tried to understand "why the obsession" and I am more confused by the hype than before. The last one is TERRIBLE. (sigh) I guess I'm glad you enjoy them. I always say "to each their own."

I gave in too. They're just fun....you don't learn much, and it is geared toward a younger audience, but darn it... They are just fun! It is fun to totally get-into something you never thought you would....I mean Vampires? Really? But I loved it! Enjoy the saga! :)

The Groupon operates as an assurance contract using ThePoint's system: if a specified quantity of individuals indication up for the offer you, then the deal gets to be available to all if the predetermined minimum is not content, no one particular receives the provide that operating working day. This minimizes threat for retailers, who can handle the price cut codes as amount special discounts as nicely as earnings marketing equipment. Groupon can make earnings by retaining approximately half the cash the shopper pays for the coupon.

For illustration, an $eighty therapeutic therapeutic massage could be acquired by the buyer for $forty by implies of Groupon, and then Groupon and the retailer would break up the $forty. That is, the retailer gives a massage valued at $eighty and gets about $20 from Groupon for it (beneath a 50%/fifty% crack up). Or, if $240 really really worth of property painting companies is obtained by the client for $fifty by signifies of Groupon, then the organization receives $twenty five and Groupon retains $twenty five. The buyer receives the therapeutic massage, or the house portray assist, in these examples, from the retailer for which they to get started with compensated out $forty (or $fifty) to Groupon. There are specified firms to which Groupon originally did not provide its remedies, which contains having photos ranges and strip clubs nonetheless, having pictures ranges have been showcased on Groupon.

Not like labeled selling, the support company does not shell out any upfront value to take part: Groupon collects personal details from prepared shoppers and then contacts only folks clients, largely by everyday e mail, who may probably be intrigued in a specific item or solutions.

Groupon employs a huge quantity of copywriters who draft descriptions for the discounts showcased by e mail and on the net site. Gap, a huge attire retailer, was capable to offer with 445,000 price reduction discount codes in a nationwide offer (even though it knowledgeable server problems at a one level), but a scaled-down firm could develop to be all of a sudden flooded with clients. A single espresso store in Portland, Oregon struggled with an increase in customers for a number of months, when it promoted shut to 1,000 Groupons on the a solitary operating working day it was supplied, in accordance to a solitary report. In response to equivalent troubles, Groupon officers condition that 'deal' subscriptions must be capped in advance to a reasonable amount.
