STUNNING

BEFORE...

AFTER...

After seeing Rachel's bathroom redo on Design Sponge I must say I became quite enthralled with many of her home projects she features on Southern Exposure. She has a background in interior design but is a stay at home mom currently. I suppose that explains her amazing eye for detail. This before and after stopped me in my tracks. The glossy black is stunning, but adding the green and white stripes takes it to a whole new level. Completely stunning. See more of this gorgeous transformation here. Oh, how I would love to recreate this look.

You're right - the armoire is terrific but the detail that sets it apart is the striped back. Very cool! Marija

This looks great! I love how she lined the inside with the green stripes!

Lining the piece with the green and white stripes takes it from nice to "Wow!" She could easily switch out the lining for a different color/pattern to change the look too.

I love the redo as well. It is crazy how just a new coat of paint can give new life to furniture.

Looks great! I've got a "hand me down" turquoise china cabinet that I want to paint, and possibly add wallpaper to the inside. Just need to figure out the right look!
