Thank You

Thank you all for your sweet, sweet words. I wish I could let you all know how truly happy you all made me feel. Blogging is such a funny world and some of the friendships I have leave me feeling very blessed. I feel much better and things are lining up. I may not know it all but I have comfort in knowing we are in God's hands. So all in all I am going to learn how to lighten up and not worry so much about the little things. And what's a post without a picture? I made this pillow the other night, just a simple envelope back and I now realize I should have ironed it better. It's Barbra Barry for Kravet. I got it from Jenny.

I need to hit up her "store." I have a friend (the mirror over lattice girl!) who has been buying happily from her, too.

I hope you continue to feel at peace (and keep blogging! I love your blog!)

Glad to hear you are feeling better. It is hard not to get caught up in the little things. Blogging can be fun and can be other things too. I always enjoy stopping by to read and enjoy your blog. I especially like your simplified look that you created for it.

Keep up the good work and I cannot believe you made that pillow. You are very talented. I really love the fabric and colors of it!

Enjoy!

I'm glad you are feeling better. It's a strange time for many people right now. You and your family are beautiful. Better times are right around the corner. :)
I thought I would tell you....my husband and I have the same height difference! I am the same height as you, and he's about the same height as your husband. I like it. I like that he can scoop me up, and I like the way my neck fits perfectly into his armpit when he has his arm around me. :)
Sending love and light,
XO

Julie The pillow insert is only 14" by 36" so I used only 16" by 38". the back I used a cream linen.

Kera, why yes that is a gray microsuede sofa. It's off our kitchen so it's great for clean up. I got it at At Home here in Alabama.

Paula-that pillow is fantastic! Love it! We definetly all go through our ups & downs. I had a rough winter & felt so blah about work & life in general. Blogging is so freaking hard when you feel uninspired. Happy to report I am 100% happy again & oozing ideas!! Come to the beach-pretty sure my happy is contagious right now!

Paula, happy to hear your feeling better about your situation. On the other hand, I LOVE this pillow! When are you going to open an etsy shop for all of us non sewing people?

Happy to hear things are looking up. I just got a card from my mom reminding me that life is a funny thing; just as you might think things couldn't get any worse, they usually turn for the better... (And as we all know, moms know best:)

And the pillow looks very pretty - good job! x
